On the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, Google have a new doodle on the homepage.

International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. And for this special day, Google has linked its doodle to their event page i.e. http://www.google.com/events/iwd2011/ for women’s causes and celebrate women’s achievements.

There Google invites everybody to donate to one of the incredible organizations that work to improve the lives of women worldwide. Attend this bridge event or check in virtually with the link through the Google homepage logo today.

Today is February 14, 2011 i.e. Saint Valentine’s Day popularly shortened as Valentine’s Day. The day to show your love and affection to your dear ones.
